Welcome to the Inside the Kitchen culinary series at The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay. Every season offers an extraordinary array of classes, dinners and seminars featuring the world’s top chefs, cookbook authors, sommeliers and mixologists. Indulge in exceptional food and wine while learning tantalizing recipes, tips and tricks from some of the very best in the culinary industry. Registration is now open for a delicious series of nine classes every other Sunday from January 6 through April 27, 2007. Celebrity chefs teach sessions using the latest Viking appliances in beautiful classroom settings, featuring state-of-the-art flat screen monitors and sound systems to capture all the action. Among others, this summer’s instructors include Traci Des Jardins and Eugenio Jardim of Jardinière; Hung Huynh, winner of Bravo’s Top Chef; It’s the most exciting line-up of classes the resort has ever hosted. And, new this season: Every guest chef will literally step inside the kitchen of the resort’s restaurant, Navio, after class, and partner with Chef de Cuisine Aaron Zimmer to present a special tasting menu that features cuisine from both chefs’ restaurants. The Ritz-Carlton donates a portion of the proceeds from each class to Meals On Wheels of San Francisco, Inc., the largest and most enduring resource for home-delivered meals to seniors in San Francisco.
